Worker's Compensation

At the Orthopedic Center, our physicians and staff pride themselves on their expertise with work-related illnesses and injuries covered under workers’ compensation. We know early diagnosis and treatment are critical to returning an injured worker to the job as soon as possible, thereby reducing both medical costs and time lost from work. We provide exceptional medical care to the injured worker, while at the same time keeping the employers and insurance carrier informed of the patient’s treatment plan, progress and recovery.

In attempt to assist with the communication process between the employee, employer and insurance, The Orthopedic Center has a Workers Compensation Case Manager on staff. This manager will assist you with the problems and issues with the worker compensation claims and is a direct liaison to our clinical staff.

At the Orthopedic Center we believe in working closely with the patient, the employer and the carrier to develop appropriate work restrictions and light duty assignments if applicable. Our staff understands the value of work-injury prevention and provides education to our patients in proper body mechanic ergonomic and post-injury rehabilitation. The staff in our Worker’s Compensation division have received special training in Workers Compensation report writing to assure that our written communication meets all accepted legal standards.
